Prime Minister Of Australia

Hon Scott Morrison MP

Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

PO Box 6500     Canberra         ACT    2600

Dear Mr Morrison,

Re:  The Sterling Group Collapse & ASIC Fiasco.

I have already written to you about the above fiasco but since finding out further

disgusting  and diabolical things that ASIC have done I felt empowered to write again,

this time a lot more angry than my previous letter.

The fact that ASIC were knowingly made aware of the cast of characters involved with

the Sterling Group going back to the 90s and were time and time again warned about

this scheme and yet they still failed to do their job to protect innocent victims of these

fraudulent activities is totally unacceptable

The abhorrent apathy and condescending attitude that ASIC has shown towards us THE

AUSTRALIAN PEOPLE left in these types of situation is disgusting.

It is no wonder the people of Australia feel let down, depressed, angry, insecure and

untrusting towards the government of this country.

This is deplorable and you should be totally ashamed to have been a part of it as the

Treasurer when all this was happening and must have been aware that this was going on.

But then again may I remind you of a statement that you once said and I quote.

“ Australians can forget about relying on the aged pension when they retire, the age

Pension should no longer be seen as an entitlement but a welfare payment”

You must be kidding me after the amount of tax seniors have paid in their working life

that they are not entitled to a pension.

My partner started work at the age of 14 and worked his whole life raised 3 children and

then helped me raise my 3 children, he was never out of work.  NEVER ON WELFARE or

claimed unemployment and worked until he was 70.  Can you tell me that the amount

Of tax that he would have paid over all those years does not entitle him to a decent pension

And a happy retirement.  He did not have super when he was young and every cent went

into raising his family.  And now when we have got the retirement age we have been conned

out of our life savings by these mongrels who were allowed to get away with stealing our

money by ASIC, your government department.

Does this seem fair to you.  I hope you agree that it is not.

Older Australians worked hard their whole lives, paid their taxes and raised their families,  we had 17% interest rates on our homes at one point, and nowhere near the luxuries that the young ones today have.

And at the end of our lives we are expected to live on a meagre pension that is a joke.

By signing up to the Sterling scheme we thought that this would free up the equity in our

homes so that we could live comfortably in retirement and not rely on WELFARE and that

has now blown up in our faces because of ASIC.

Now we have to rely on the pension and that is not what we wanted.

How does this help the economy of this country?

You MUST investigate this matter, Mr Morrison.  Restore the faith of older Australians in

your government.     Please don’t let us down again.

Compensate the victims of this crime by giving us back our $36 million as we do deserve

this after all the hard work that we have done for this country.

I am praying that you will,

Yours sincerely
