The powers of ASIC have just come to the fore after several investigations into their poor lack-lustre performance as a regulator. This has been very public that they have not performed to a standard that could be considered acceptable, now and only now it appears they have put their dentures in and want to show some teeth.
The Coaltion want us to believe ASIC is the answer to pull the Banks into line but where were the years of using their powers before Mr Turnbull decided they are the answer to all of the victims of Bank Frauds prayers? Mr Turnbull is now expecting us to swallow some pile of bullshit about this so call strong regulator being there for consumer affairs.
You are surely kidding Mr Turnbull do you want to look into the years worth of Bank Fraud and the mess that the victims have been left in first before you reduce ASICs working funds then expect better service. You are showing me and most other Australians (and we are not stupid as you may think) that you are prepared to sacrifice decent people's future in the defence of your Bankster mates.
ASIC is far from the answer and they will only become a functional regulator after the results of the Senate Inquiry is handed down regarding its performance and it is accompanied by a real Royal Commission with wide terms of reference to firstly weed out the criminal elements in Banking and Finance. Nothing less than this will do. You Sir, as current Prime Minister, will be seen as an accomplice to the greatest crime scene ever seen in Australia if you aid and abet the Banksters in their crooked heist and asset grab on Aussies.

Just tell me one thing if ASIC had all these powers 5 to 6 years ago when many of us first started noticing all was not as it seemed with our mortgages. Why has it taken all this time for corrupt ASIC to decide they will now start to act on these Bankster issues. Before the finger started getting squarely pointed at ASIC's poor performance in policing we the people have been subject to shocking Banking practices and useless EDRs. Now these morons are getting exposed for substandard one way in favour of Bank decisions.
There is only one political party with guts (Labor) for the people against the Banks with the promise of a Royal Commission into Banking and Finance while the other insipid mob refuse to expose their bed partners.
Decent Australians will not stand for Liberal biased to bank nonsense any longer!
