Thorburn made an utter fool of himself yesterday.......just 2 staff sacked?  Paid the

greatest offenders of shocking financial advice $850,000 plus

120% bonus and then probabely told the others to change their name so he could

reemploy them..... the more crooked they are the more valuable for CEO Thorburn's

bonuses!   And................he sees nothing wrong with the system??????

Now for the next three Banksters and hours of miserable excuses and justifications.

What the people want is to see a few CEO's locked up as we commoners would be if

we were stealing homes like that!!!   $1.6 trillion dud mortgages, using fraud and

forgery and this is a 'civil' matter?  No Mr PM / Mr Treason..........this is CRIMINAL.

Lol:

Andrew Thorburn has defended the National Australia Bank’s handling of misconduct and bonuses paid to wealth boss Andrew Hagger, after revealing more than 1100 staff failed to meet its code of conduct last financial year.

In opening remarks to the House of Representatives standing committee on economics, Mr Thorburn said in full-year 2016 the bank identified 1138 staff who did not meet its code of conduct, including five senior managers, after stronger scrutiny than prior years.

He said two senior managers were dismissed with the remaining “disciplined”.

“The message here to all our people is that we are in a position of trust. We have high standards, they are expected to be met and if they are not there are consequences,” Mr Thorburn said.

Mr Thorburn is the first big bank CEO to appear before the committee in the second round of hearings after the initial inquiry in October, which was called by the government as part of efforts to quell Labor’s push for a royal commission.

Don’t think it’s working!

Get on it Anna and Mike. The tent needs some airing.
