LAF Document Dump
The Banking and Finance Consumer Support Association and its president, Denise Brailey, have been all over the news lately.
Australia’s banks and regulators are taking an almighty beating on all sorts of fronts from the tiny organisation.
It’s part of a media campaign that’s been a long time in the making. And the climax hit a few days ago. Denise has begun her document dump.
Vast amounts of manipulated Loan Application Forms are now publicly available on the BFCSA homepage. www.bfcsa.com.au
Many of the documents describe exactly how the LAF was manipulated, and the pathetic responses of ASIC, the Financial Ombudsman Service, the banks and mortgage brokers are also documented.
The media is picking up the momentum now that the evidence is public.
But still, far too few people are realising the power of this story. They don’t seem to connect that it means their mortgage could be cancelled or reduced.
