I watched Sky News late last night and the interview had a Nicholas Reese on there who was pro Royal Commission into the Banks
Yet of all the others brought in: Entsch was hopeless and slurring (?) speech.
The news reader had no idea of the issues re Tribunals or the Consumer perspective and just kept saying "I agree, Tribunal sounds good!" Presentation was embarrassing to watch.
Bronnie was saying Tribunal would be cheaper – what would she know flying around in cheap helicopters?
Mathias Cormann – Useless and sticking to malcolm instructions to protect bad banks. A Liberal pro tribunal line-up
Not one person mentioned consumers!
No-one had any grasp of the main issues and could not really explain the mechanics of the latest Malcolm in a Muddle Thought Bubble.
No-one has a degree in Criminology or in particular specialising in white collar crime.
We had State Tribunals before and they were all scrapped in around 2010
The problems were for bank victims:
Cheap but needed $200 or more to run your own case with zero experience and totally consumed by stress.
Tribunal cannot “investigate “ your case and has no idea of the bigger picture of Ponzi Financing by Banks on CEO level
Its up to all victims to investigate and run their own cases.
Many victims do not live in the cities where presumably tribunals will be held for convenience of Bankers and their silks.
Lawyers for Banks arrived and then you still had to engage a lawyer to handle your complaint and COST could be in excess of $5000 p.p.
Registrars and Magistrates do not understand the FRAUD and the criminal elements of the "intention to deceive" argument
Banks win. Consumers lost all of these cases due to the above difficulties.
Registrars were concerned it was a massacre zone for consumers.
SYSTEM SCRAPPED: Banks complained.
The Entsch Tribunal is a Banker idea……………………….clean neat finish the customers off quickly!!!
Turncoat and Backflipper Entsch and Co have no idea how this works but over a drinkie this sounds good.......................
